farmhouse ( ‘maison de campagne’ )built in 1812 on outskirts of small hamlet in
northern tip of Haute Pyrenees. Central location for the Gers, Landes, Pyrenees
Atlantique/Occidental (Gascony, Aquitaine, Midi-Pyrenees), beaches, mountains
and lakes. Views of Pyrenees. Ideal location for cycling (+Le Tour), walking,
birdwatching, skiing and snowboarding in season, cuisine, wines, history and culture.
Annual world-renown Marciac Jazz Festival in August. 1 Ground floor bedroom with
double bed and child’s travel cot. 1 First floor double bedroom. 1 First floor
bedroom with two single beds. Additional double sofa bed in living room. The living
room is tasefully furnished with two settees (one of which is a bed settee) and
two comfortable easy chairs. For the colder evenings early and late season the
living room is equipped with a woodburning stove. There are rugs, ornaments and
pictures which contribute to the general ambience of the house and a small library
with a range of reading materials including travel guides and brochuresLarge tiled
floor dining/kitchen with large table and seating for 8 to 10 Child’s high chair.

Seasonal swimming pools in Plaisance, Riscle, Madiran and Maubourguet. Lakes for
swimming and boating with floating restaurants between Plaisance and Marciac.
Pyrenees approx 60 mins. Cauteret for skiing and snowboarding in season approx
80mins. Golf in Pau. Ideal area for walking, cycling, bird watching and chilling
out. Biarritz (Atlantic coast), Bordeaux and Toulouse approx. 2hrs. Med., Carcassone,
Perpignan approx 3 hrs. Auch approx. 60 mins. Tarbes and Pau (incl airport) approx
40 mins. Tour de France June/July in Pyrenees. Spain/Andorra approx 3 hrs Situated
in the heart of the Haute Pyrenees, Le Luc is ideally placed as a base for enjoying
a wide range of activities, suitable for all ages. Although there are a considerable
number of local activities, the house is also approximately 90 minutes drive to
the Pyrenees and for those wishing to travel further afield you can reach the

the pool while the children play safely in the grounds. The gite has its own patio/
terrace area with garden furniture and BBQ. A barn area is equipped to enable
you to enjoy, Badminton, table tennis, shooting hoops along with a Boules pitch
and other giant garden games for your enjoyment- cycles are also available for
your enjoyment. A small well stocked fish pool also provides entertainment for

Iron & Ironing board & cleaning equipment. Fresh towels for both the gite and

Facilities There are 3 leisure lakes nearby coupled with walking trails, canoeing,
rafting, leisure boat trips, horse riding. Golfers will delight in the choice
of local courses all un-crowded and beautiful the nearest being under 10 minutes
drive away. The Pyrenees are only a short drive away, and offer great areas of
interest such as the observatory at Pic du Midi and La Mange. The religious town
of Lourdes is under 1hr away, well worth a visit to take in the sights and ambiance
